    I solicited a platoon of reporters, bloggers, commentators, academics and policy wonks on what they think it means, forcing them to winnow down their answers to a single sentence that begins with the same two words: "It means ..."       Most of the conservative comments I've heard so far have been extremely positive. That's just one of the amazing things about Obama's win. Even conservatives acknowledge the accomplishment in a black man being president. And it's hard to ignore the entire world celebrating the election... - yoshinyc

      That's probably the most amazing thing to me. Seeing people all over the world - even in countries where the US isn't that popular - singing in the streets and holding american flags... Been a long time since I've seen that. - aaron
